Do not make any payments of any kind until your class is officially scheduled—full stop. Until there’s a confirmed date on the calendar and a seat with your name attached to it, your money stays in your pocket, not drifting through the event-planning twilight zone.  Once your class is locked in, then you pay, you show up, and you fly—but until then, your wallet is grounded and cleared for holding.
