At Drone Flight School, our 18+ beginner classes are designed for adults who want to learn the fundamentals of drone flying in a relaxed, focused environment. Whether you’re brand new to drones or just need a confidence boost before flying on your own, this class covers everything from basic controls and safety tips to simple maneuvers and flight practice. With no kids in the mix, you can take your time, ask all the questions you want, and learn alongside other adults at the same skill level. It’s the perfect first step into the world of drones—no experience required, just curiosity and a sense of adventure.
Our Adults-Only Drone Classes at Drone Flight School are a fresh take on learning—part hands-on tech training, part pure aerial fun. Designed exclusively for participants 18 and older, these beginner-friendly sessions are perfect for anyone curious about drones but ready to learn in a relaxed, mature environment without the kids around.
You’ll get behind the controls of cutting-edge drones, learn the basics of safe flying, and practice essential maneuvers. From navigating a simple obstacle course to completing guided aerial challenges, every activity is designed to build your skills and confidence step by step.
No prior drone experience is needed—our instructors make it easy, approachable, and fun to get airborne. We provide all the equipment, instruction, and support. All you need to bring is yourself and a willingness to explore.
By the end of class, you’ll walk away with the know-how to fly on your own, a better understanding of drone capabilities, and maybe even a few brag-worthy flight moves. It’s your chance to experience drones in a friendly, adults-only setting—because learning something new should be just as exciting as it is rewarding.

Teams use camera drones to find “survivors” and coordinate recovery

We’ve got the refreshments covered. During your class, you can stay fueled and focused with a variety of snacks and drinks—whether you’re craving something crunchy, sweet, or just need that caffeine boost. We’ll keep you energized so you can concentrate on learning, flying, and having fun.
The cost is $40 per person, with space for up to 12 participants. That includes a half-day of hands-on beginner drone training, all the equipment you’ll need, expert instruction, and plenty of flight time to build your skills. It’s an affordable way to try something new, gain confidence behind the controls, and enjoy an exciting, adults-only learning experience—no conference room required.
