The Franklin Center for Innovation Launches Drone Flight School and Drone Club

Frankfort, Kentucky – March 26th, 2025 – The Franklin Center for Innovation is thrilled to announce the launch of its Drone Flight School and Drone Club, offering hands-on education and community engagement opportunities for drone enthusiasts of all levels.

With the rapid expansion of drone technology in industries such as agriculture, real estate, cinematography, and emergency response, the need for proper training and certification has never been greater. The Drone Flight School provides structured courses designed to teach students the fundamentals of drone operation, safety protocols, and FAA Part 107 certification preparation for those seeking to become commercial drone pilots.

The Drone Club complements the school by offering a collaborative environment for drone enthusiasts of all skill levels. Club members will participate in exciting drone races, aerial photography challenges, and real-world applications of drone technology. Through workshops, guest speakers, and networking events, the club fosters a supportive community for anyone interested in exploring the limitless potential of drones.

“Our mission is to provide hands-on training and a sense of camaraderie for anyone interested in drones, whether for hobby or career advancement,” said Jason R. Classes and club meetings will take place at Thorn Hill Education Center, located at 700 Leslie Avenue, Frankfort, Kentucky. Enrollment is now open, and both beginners and experienced pilots are encouraged to join.
